When the burdens of life accumulate and situations feel overpowering, our instinctive reactions—panic, complaint, or self-reliant struggle—often take over. But when the foe presses in and oppression threatens to overtake you, what should you do? Praise.
Psalm 22:3 reveals a profound truth: God sets His throne upon the praises of His people. Praise is not merely something we do in good times; it’s a deliberate strategy in spiritual warfare. When you lift your voice and declare God’s greatness in the midst of your chaos, you are crafting a throne for Him right in the center of your battle. Where the King is enthroned, the enemy cannot maintain dominion; darkness cannot remain where the King of Glory sits.
You don’t have to wait until you see victory to worship. Praise is the key that alters the atmosphere. When circumstances press you down, allow praise to elevate you. Seat Him above your struggles and watch His presence scatter every form of oppression.
