To possess a "Scattering Heart" is not a call to be careless or to give away resources without purpose. Rather, it is the profound understanding that true wealth requires movement. Much like a farmer who must throw his precious seed into the ground to see a harvest, we must discern what to hold, what to use, and what to scatter. When you withhold more than is meet—when you hoard your time, your talents, or your capital out of fear—you are not securing your future; you are inviting stagnation.
This principle is inextricably linked to the nature of honorable business. Many fail to see that commerce is, in itself, a form of high-level giving. When you provide value to others through your work, your products, or your services, you are "watering" the marketplace. Proverbs 11:25–26 reminds us that he who watereth shall be watered also himself.
